Warren Hospital Joins St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network, Plans for Expansion of Facility

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. – St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network and Warren Healthcare, a community hospital based in Phillipsburg, N.J., signed legal documentation for Warren Hospital to officially become the sixth St. Luke's hospital. The name of the hospital is now St. Luke's Warren Hospital.

Renovation of Morristown Memorial Hospital Simon Level 5 Awarded LEED Gold

Morristown18HOUSTON, Texas -- At Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, N.J., the renovation of a single floor, Simon Level 5, has received Gold LEED Commercial Interiors certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The 14,070-square-foot project, the renovation of a 1948 semi-private room bed floor into an inpatient unit focused on oncology patients, encompasses 30 patient rooms and support areas. Although small in scope the project has had high impact at the hospital, demonstrating sustainability can be achieved despite the challenges of being located in an existing building.

The Joint Commission, JCR Present 2012 Emergency Preparedness Conference

OAK Brook, Ill. -- On May 22, 2011, St. John’s Regional Medical Center was devastated by an EF5 tornado when it tore through Joplin, Mo. Despite the odds, the hospital continued to provide care and save patients’ lives because its staff had successfully tested and implemented effective emergency preparedness and disaster management plans.
