Princeton Baptist Starts Construction of $57M Expansion

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Princeton Baptist Medical Center began construction of a $57 million expansion at its existing campus Wednesday, July 14.

Hospital officials and city leaders broke ground on the project that will include renovation of 16 hospital operating rooms and add more than 90,000 square feet of space for surgical recovery and improved patient and visitor access.

El Camino Hospital Los Gatos Celebrates a Year of Progress

LOS GATOS, Calif. -- Just one year ago, hundreds of local citizens, board members, civic leaders and executives gathered for the official ribbon cutting for El Camino Hospital Los Gatos.

In an effort to bring its community model of health care delivery to Los Gatos and surrounding communities, El Camino Hospital had purchased the Los Gatos facility, previously operated by Tenet Healthcare Corp., and briefly closed it to make more than 100 key technology upgrades and train hundreds of staff and physicians. The hospital also worked closely with community groups and South Bay physicians to determine what key health services were needed. The planning and effort was coming to fruition.

New Location Opens to Patients on July 14

HERSHEY, PA – Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation Hospital's newly constructed, freestanding location was officially introduced today at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event took place at Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation Hospital's new location at 1135 Old West Chocolate Avenue in Derry Township. The hospital – which is the result of a collaborative partnership between Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Select Medical Corporation – will bring advanced medical rehabilitation care to the central Pennsylvania community.

New Portsmouth Regional Hospital Main Entrance and Lobby to Open

Portsmouth, NH, -- Portsmouth Regional Hospital has reached a significant milestone with the scheduled opening of the beautiful new hospital main entrance and lobby.  The lobby, with its double atrium, will consolidate entry in to the medical facility.  The theme of the lobby is the rich maritime history of the Seacoast area.

The new main entrance and lobby are part of a $70 million expansion to Portsmouth Regional Hospital.  The scope of the project includes approximately 67,600 square feet of new construction and more than 88,000 square feet of renovations to the existing facility.
