As a Pebble Project and a pioneer in the field of cancer treatments, it also realizes that there is more to healing than medicine and technology. Researchers, in particular Roger Ulrich, a behavioral scientist and professor at Texas A&M, have uncovered interesting correlations between art and healing. When M.D. Anderson realized that its “art for art’s sake? collection in the facility was not enhancing patient outcomes, it decided to change its game plan.
